Our 2018 cruise season set off to a great start on the Saga Pearl II to see the Bright Lights of Norway
Our first Saga cruise of 2018 set off on valentine’s day to see the Bright Lights of Norway, on the Saga Pearl II. The team had yet another fantastic cruise with Saga and although weather limited the wildlife sightings a great time was had by all.
In particular, passengers and volunteers were fortunate enough to have some amazing views of the Aurora Borealis, and saw a variety of fascinating species of birds, including white–tailed sea eagles.
A huge thank you to the ORCA team for volunteering for this cruise, to all the guests and crew on board the Saga Pearl II and to Saga. Although no cetaceans were seen during the voyage, our 2018 cruise season set off to a great start!
