The trip with Jessops comes hot on the heels of a once in a lifetime True's beaked whale encounter.
After the inaugural Photographic Sea Safari in early July 2018, ORCA are delighted to confirm a second trip to take place in 2019, and ORCA supporters can register now for priority booking.
The trip, based on our popular Sea Safari programme, sees passengers trained to photograph whales, dolphins and other wildlife in one of the top five places on the planet, the Bay of Biscay.
After a classroom based session at Portsmouth International Port, you'll board Brittany Ferries flagship Pont-Aven for a crossing to Santander, with dozens of species potentially on show during the crossing. After a very brief sojourn in Spain, passengers will then get back on the ship for the return journey, ending in Plymouth.
During the trip this summer passengers were treated to an extra special encounter with an incredibly rare species of whale, the True's beaked whale. The group captured hundreds of photos of these elusive species, with some of those collected widely considered to be the best ever taken of this animal in the wild.
