Marine Mammal Surveyor Sea Safari

We are delighted to let you know we have managed to rescheduled the Marine Mammal Surveyor Sea Safari!

Dear All,

The ORCA team are delighted to be getting in touch to let you know that we have managed to reschedule the cancelled Marine Mammal Sea Safari from earlier this year! From 1st October – 3rd October we are going to running this very special edition of our Sea Safari trips, aimed specifically at our amazing volunteers in the Marine Mammal Surveyor Network.

This trip will give our most loyal supporters a chance to catch up with friends old and new whilst enjoying one of the most vibrant and exciting marine spaces ORCA visit – the Bay of Biscay.

Up on deck all day, you’ll have the chance to catch up with friends as well as chatting to ORCA staff about our research, the organisation structure, membership, our corporate partnerships and plenty of more besides! You’ll also have the chance to ask those burning questions about being a surveyor, whether that’s getting extra training on Logger or having the chance to dig a little bit deeper in to our policy work.

We want as many people as possible to be able to join us and have been able to secure a very low price for berths compared to our standard Sea Safari pricing:

One person sharing a 3-4 berth cabin - £125 per person
One person sharing a 2 berth cabin - £145 per person

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Once you have booked, you will be allocated a space in a same sex cabin AT RANDOM. We are unable to accommodate requests for individually booked spaces to share with specific people
  • If you would like to share with specific people, you must book ALL places at the same time on one single booking. If you book three places, then ORCA will randomly assign a fourth same sex guest to join your group for the trip in order to keep costs as low as possible for all passengers. Therefore, all three person bookings must be single sex
  • All guests booking on the trip must be an active ORCA Marine Mammal Surveyor who is a current ORCA member
  • All passengers must have a valid passport and be able to travel to Spain on the dates of the trip
  • Places are limited and subject to availability. Due to deposits and cabin costs, bookings are non-refundable within 60 days of the departure date of the trip
  • Guests are responsible for their own travel insurance and travel to and from Plymouth. Unfortunately, due to limited space, no free parking will be available for guests

To book, you can visit the dedicated page on the ORCA shop here – you will need to be logged into the Surveyor Network to access this item on the shop.

We only have a limited number of places and we are expecting this to book very quickly, so we’d encourage you to book today.

We hope you will be able to join us, and look forward to seeing you all soon!

Best wishes

The ORCA team
