The brand new programme will be delivered in partnership with long term ORCA partner DFDS on the Newhaven to Dieppe.
ORCA today have opened applications for a brand new Wildlife Officer programme taking place in June and July 2018 on board the DFDS ferry route from Newhaven to Dieppe.
Long terms partners of ORCA, DFDS have supported a programme in the North Sea for more than ten years but this new initiative marks the first time the two organisations have worked on a cross channel ferry.
The role will see the successful applicant working aboard for 7 weeks, from W/C 11th June to W/C 30th July, and work five days a week engaging with the thousands of passengers utilising this busy ferry route.
We are looking for someone who speaks both French and English, and who has a strong background in wildlife, excellent presentation skills and a passion for conservation. Applications close at midnight on Sunday 18th March and interviews will be conducted W/C 2nd April.
